Chief Zubeiru Shardow Muleh
1847-1922
and covers several generations of the family
as well as links to several affiliated families.
Zubeiru Baba Shardow (ZB / Baban Mu)
1923-1996
He was born in Accra on the 21st of April, 1923.
He attended the Accra Royal Primary and Senior Schools , James Town from 1930-1940, after which he left to study Islamic Theology in Ilorin , Nigeria. He returned to Ghana six years later and worked in the Command Pay Office of the Gold Coast Army. He became very active in politics joining the UGCC and later becoming a founding member of the CPP, where he was appointed Regional Organiser of the Builder's Brigade. He assisted in setting up the Ghana Young Pioneers and eventually became its National Organiser.
He was once the Member of Parliament for Tema and a member of the
Accra Metropolitan Assembly. He joined the Japan Motors Ltd, retiring
in 1992 as its Deputy General Manager. After the death of his brother
Ataa Sura in 1993, he was made the third Sarkin Nufawa.
He died on the 12th of September, 1996.
He had eight wives and thirteen children.
