HAJIA SUWEIBATU SHARDOW
Hajia Suweibatu Shardow was born in Accra on the 30th of April, 1930 to Chief Suleiman Shardow and Hajara Mai Karfa.
She got married to Chief Baba Jawula Ababio, the Kpembe Wura of Salaga in 1947. ( He died on the 16th of November 1981 at Kpembe).

ALHAJI MOHAMMED NURU-DEEN JAWULA

CHIEF MND JAWULA
Alhaji M.N.D. Jawula, was born on the 2nd of May, 1949 at Cow Lane in Accra. He was a career
civil servant for thirty-two years, retiring in 2008. Alhaji Jawula served for over fourteen years
in various capacities in the Mamprusi and Dagomba areas of the Northern Region. He later on
worked at the Ministry of Finance and Economic Planning, the Ministry of Harbours and Railways
and retired as a Chief Director at the Ministry of Health.
A keen sports enthusiast, Alhaji Jawula has been the Chairman of Real Tamale United Football
Club (RTU) for several years. He was the Vice Chairman then later Chairman of the Ghana Football Association (GFA), the LOC Chairman in 1999 and 2000 and Vice Chairman of CAN 2008.
In 1999, he was honored with a Civil Service Meritorious Award and in 2007 was presented with a National Award, The Order Of The Volta.
Alhaji MND Jawula holds the chieftaincy title Lepo-Wura conferred on him by the people of Salaga.
